I've been back in the United States for two weeks and the state of the country has been somewhat demoralizing. The bizarre and irrational virus regulations, distancing, masking, and overall insanity is dehumanizing. Walking into stores and not being able to see faces, not being able to have normal human interaction is insane bugman level dehumanization.

Ordering a goddamn cup of coffee is a fucking chore due to all the stupid spacing rules and inability to actually hear unmuffled human voices.

We are living in sad disgusting times.
