Enjoyed giving this a listen and a shout out to the old days in Long Beach Alex! I found the statement about great writers being born not made an interesting thought and maybe one to expand for another episode. The idea that Kurt Cobain could change rock history with 3 chords versus the many virtuoso's and who might be literature's versions of Cobain is an intriguing idea. I typically point to Cobain's solo in 'Sappy' as something Van Halen couldn't make if he tried, giving credence to the 'born not made' requirement for an artist. But I've never thought of that in a writing or literature sense. So who might those author's be might be fun for another episode.

Hey man, glad you are enjoying the podcast. It's funny that you commented today because just the other day I was thinking about that one time we went camping and you just decided to come with us at the last minute.

I think that there are some people, like Cobain, who at the right time under the right circumstances can tap into some spiritual artistic flow that ends up driving the culture in a certain way.
