Despite my hat-switch, I did skim a bit in the 2nd story, too. It got repetitive.
I’m glad you’re going to start doing serious criticism of work in our sphere. I agree that J. deserves a lot of respect for putting these types of stories out there. They’re not my thing and I’m glad you read this for me so I don’t have to. Gory gross horror/torture porn does nothing for me and I actively avoid but, but for those who dig it, rock on.

It straddled the line between shock and porn but it wasn't erotic enough to be good porn.
It had every hentai trope, but turned ridiculous. I have to give props to the author for just going to 11 with it and damning the consequences
