Anything by Caro is absolutely incredible. Power Broker was excellent, slowly working through his LBJ tomes now.

I think De Niro's character had the authentic 60s version with epaulettes, mine blew up in the 90s it was 100% cotton canvass. Might be wrong about Bob's..

I read it in English. I liked it right away, it was Kafkaesque David Lynchian which is right up my alley.
